REI Credit Card Rewards – A New Way to Shop at REI

Spread the love

If you’re an outdoorsy person who has a gear closet, chances are you shop at REI. The co-op’s wildly generous return policy, exclusive member perks like free rentals and discounted repairs, and annual 10% member reward are just a few of the reasons REI is a brand that breeds loyalty. And now, with the REI Co-op Mastercard, there’s another reason to join the co-op: a new credit card that rewards you on every purchase and offers extra benefits like free ride-sharing, food delivery and online shopping perks from Mastercard World Elite, as well as lounge access and travel insurance (terms apply).

Who owns REI credit card?

The rei credit card rewards you earn are based on your total net purchases. Cash advances, balance transfers and REI Co-op Experiences don’t count toward your net purchase amount, nor do gift cards or membership fees. Reward amounts are credited to your account and available for redemption online within 10 days of the close of your billing cycle.

The rei credit card rewards rates are higher than many general cash back cards and have no foreign transaction fees. That makes the REI card a good choice for outdoor enthusiasts who frequently shop at the outdoor retailer and want to be able to redeem their rewards for cash back. But if you’re looking for a card that can be used for all types of purchases and offers more flexibility in how you redeem your rewards, a general cash-back card may be a better option for you.
